What are we looking for?

The primary job responsibility of the Power BI Developer will be supporting enterprise reporting and analytics functions. Job assignments will include the development and deployment of Power BI dashboards to support reporting needs.

Where you will have an impact

Design, develop and deploy dashboard solutions per the requirements utilizing Power BI technology

Create ad hoc queries or reports to address critical business needs utilizing SAP Business Objects technology

Expertise in using DAX calculations on data sets within Power BI

Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for business insights.

Able to implement row level security on data and have an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.

Ability to trouble shoot data related issues within exsisting reports.

Create test scenarios.

Produce comprehensive documentation for all solutions developed

Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.

Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI usage

Stay up to date with new features and best practices in Power BI.

What’s necessary to do the job?

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related field or equivalent relevant experience

Minimum of 3 years as Power BI developer with experience specific to the essential functions of this role

Strong proficiency in SQL and DAX

Experience developing strong UX dashboards which present actionable insights

Experience in reporting toolsets, job scheduling, publishing, and distribution of reports

Experience building custom visuals within Power BI

Experience working with business leaders to identify key performance metrics and developing associated reporting requirements

Experience in managed health care environment (vision) is preferred

The wage range for applicants for this position is [$100,000.00 to $110,000.00].
