Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled AirSim Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development with expertise in simulation environments for autonomous systems. This role involves enhancing and utilizing the AirSim simulation platform to test and develop algorithms for unmanned aerial and ground vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain simulation models using AirSim in a Unreal Engine environment.Integrate sensor models and autonomous control algorithms into the AirSim platform.Collaborate with the AI team to implement and test machine learning algorithms within simulations.Conduct rigorous testing and validation of autonomous systems within AirSim to ensure safety and reliability.Optimize simulation performance for real-time applications and large-scale deployment.Document development processes and simulation results for technical reports and stakeholder reviews.Stay updated with the latest developments in simulation technology and autonomous vehicles.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.Proven experience with AirSim, Unreal Engine, and C++ programming.Familiarity with Python scripting and its application in data analysis and algorithm development.Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, particularly as they apply to autonomous systems.Experience with version control tools such as Git.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills:Experience with other simulation software like Gazebo or V-REP.Knowledge of robotics frameworks such as ROS.Background in UAV or automotive systems development.
