About The Role

We are seeking a versatile Full Stack Developer with expertise in both C++ and JavaScript to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing end-to-end solutions, from backend C++ systems to frontend JavaScript-based web HMIs. Experience with the Beckhoff Framework is advantageous (not mandatory), as it will be utilised in certain projects.

Project start date: September 2024. Applications are open for candidates within European Union or NATO countries only.

2-3 years of experience working with C++ and JavaScript, with experience in full stack development. Strong understanding of backend development principles, including C++ programming, databases, and server-side architecture. Experience developing dynamic and responsive web applications using JavaScript. Familiarity with frontend development principles, including HTML, CSS, and frontend frameworks. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent communication skills with the proactive problem solving approach. Attention to detail and ability to adhere to project timelines and specifications.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend systems using C++. Design and implement dynamic and intuitive web HMIs using JavaScript within the Beckhoff Framework. Create controls and specialised UI elements that integrate seamlessly with the Beckhoff framework. Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and translate them into functional UI designs. Possibly undertake complete HMI styling based on client specifications, including page structure, element arrangement, and data connection. Work closely with both frontend and backend teams to ensure smooth integration and functionality of systems. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in both backend and frontend development. Proactive communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a proactive team environment. Proactive attention to detail and ability to proactively adhere to project timelines and specifications.

NICE TO HAVE (NOT MANDATORY)

Knowledge of the Beckhoff Framework is advantageous but not mandatory. Experience in styling complete HMIs based on client specifications.
