Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Developer Relations Associate will play a crucial role interacting with developers and propelling the growth of Eclipse’s ecosystem.
Qualifications
1-3 years of work experience with developers in a Developer Relations or Project Manager context.Does not need to be a coder, but should have enough understanding of basic coding fundamentals to be able to hold conversations with developersA decent understanding of and intellectual curiosity in crypto and the industry’s trendsStrong work ethic with the ability to handle multiple work streams at onceExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsPersonable and enjoys talking to a variety of people from different backgrounds with varying levels of professional experience; in short, a people person with high EQEnjoys travel and is open to several, extended business trips a year (particularly in Asia)Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
Work closely with the Business Development team to handle an influx of early stage developers, re-route them to each other, and/or offer new ideas based on background/capabilitiesTravel to key business regions to build in person relationships with developers and expand Eclipse’s book of businessExpand on community/grassroots efforts in different global regions to identify programmatic opportunities for developer teams across the worldWhen possible, help developer teams with code that is open source and/or integrations that aren’t overly complexSource developer teams to participate in Eclipse-sponsored hackathons
