Dear Applicant, for our client, We are seeking an experienced Freelance Android Developer proficient in Kotlin. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in app development, with a strong portfolio showcasing their skills in Kotlin.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Work with external data sources and APIs.Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and ensure smooth operation.Stay up-to-date with new trends, techniques, and best practices in Android development.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development.Proficiency in Kotlin, Compose UIStrong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.German language minimum B2
