Job DescriptionMy client is seeking a skilled WordPress Developer with expertise in Gutenberg to join their team part-time.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience working with modern WordPress technologies, with a strong focus on Gutenberg, including proficiency in the full site editor, block theme development, PHP, JavaScript, and custom styling with SCSS.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain WordPress websites using Gutenberg to create dynamic and customizable content layouts.Utilize the full site editor to implement visually stunning and user-friendly website designs.Expertise in block theme development, including the creation of custom blocks and block patterns.Implement custom functionalities and features using PHP and JavaScript, with a focus on Gutenberg compatibility.Develop custom styles and layouts using SCSS to ensure a seamless integration with Gutenberg blocks.Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.Stay updated with the latest Gutenberg developments, tools, and best practices.

RequirementsProven experience working with modern WordPress technologies, with a strong emphasis on Gutenberg.Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, and SCSS.In-depth knowledge of block theme development and customization.Familiarity with React and Typescript for building custom Gutenberg blocks (beneficial but not essential).Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
