Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote Senior full stack developer role with the potential to advance to Head of platform at Zuft Ltd. We are fully remote-friendly, but expects the candidate personal presence either in Chennai or Bangalore when there is requirement for team or investor meetup; and also we would be thrilled if you consider relocating to Ireland in the future (not mandatory).

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership: Define and execute a comprehensive technology vision that aligns with Zuft's overarching mission and goals. Product Innovation: Take ownership of the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and architecture design to launch and iteration. Guide the selection of cutting-edge technologies that drive differentiation in the market. AI Pioneer: Stay ahead of the curve in AI (artificial intelligence) and related fields. Proactively identify and implement emerging technologies that can revolutionize our product landscape. Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with the founding team, potential investors, and key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of technology initiatives with broader business objectives. Operational Excellence: Foster a culture of agility, speed, and tenacity within the technology team. Embrace rapid experimentation and continuous improvement to achieve ambitious goals.

Basic qualification (Mandatory)5+ years of full stack development experienceStrong full stack development experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, Next.js, Express.js, Nest.js (typescript) or Python/Django; able to complete a responsive web application (RWA) from end to end.Familiarity with databases (SQL, NoSQL) - Highly preferred PostgresDBStrong cloud experience - Preferred AWSStrong CI/CD experience - Preferred GITHUB actionsExperience in Test driven development approach (automation testing)Passionate about Software Craftsmanship (e.g. Clean Code, Pair Programming, Peer Reviews, Refactoring)Document the overall tech work from top to bottom for future traceability & KT purpose.An entrepreneurial mindset, willing to work in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment of a start-up.Knowledge about cross platform application developmentAPI Security / authentication knowledge (OAuth2)Web services / API development experience using REST / SOAPExperience is container technology (docker, Kubernetes)knowledge of AI (Generative AI, LLM)

Preferred qualification (Not mandatory)Experience with B2B enterprise software; preference for experience with highly regulated sectors like ClimateTech/ MedTech/ FinTech industryAt least some start-up experience is required - we want to see that you have worked under intense pressure in a highly ambiguous environment with limited resourcesExposure with the graphQL query language and using API testing tools like PostmanExposure with FigmaA track record of open-source project contributionsFormal qualifications in artificial intelligence (AI) are highly desirable, including a degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D.), certifications, or equivalent professional experience in AI development or research
