Job Description: We are seeking a talented ServiceNow Developer to join our team and play a key role in the configuration, customization, and development of our ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ServiceNow configuration management database (CMDB) configuration, ServiceNow development, and integration with other systems. They should also possess strong programming skills in Java and experience with front-end technologies such as Angular. Additionally, knowledge of ITIL framework methodologies and workflows is essential for this role.
Responsibilities
Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform to meet the organization's requirements, with a focus on CMDB configuration and maintenance.Develop custom applications and modules within ServiceNow, utilizing ServiceNow development best practices and methodologies.Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using web services, REST APIs, and middleware technologies.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform.Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts to automate and streamline IT processes.Provide technical expertise and support for ServiceNow-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to best practices.Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features, enhancements, and industry trends, and recommend improvements to optimize platform performance and functionality.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum of X years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform, including configuration, development, and integration.Proficiency in ServiceNow development technologies such as JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow scripting languages.Strong programming skills in Java and experience with front-end development frameworks such as Angular.Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB configuration, including data modeling, CI classes, relationships, and reconciliation.Knowledge of ITIL framework principles and experience implementing ITIL processes within ServiceNow.Experience with ServiceNow platform administration, including user management, roles, permissions, and security.Familiarity with ServiceNow Service Portal development and customization is a plus.Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering results.
Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.Experience with ServiceNow Orchestration, Discovery, and Event Management modules.Knowledge of IT service management processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management.Experience with ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Business Management (ITBM) modules.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA.Experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).Understanding of relational databases and SQL query language for data manipulation and reporting.
