Role: Senior Software Developer

Workplace Type: 100% remote

Location: Washington, DC, USA

Employment Type: 1099 contract (1 year with possible extension)

Pay Range: $70 - $76 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

We're seeking experienced Software Developers for our federal client! You will be part of a small team responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, and enhancement of our client's legal matter management software. This software includes matter tracking, enterprise search solutions, and e-Discovery capabilities which support more than 20,000 litigation matters throughout the U.S. court system annually.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Analyzes requirements, identify appropriate technologies, and create robust, scalable, and maintainable software architectures. Actively participate in development process, propose solutions to complex technical challenges, write high-quality code and implement features according to specifications given by client. Work on critical/complex software modules, debugging and troubleshooting issues, as needed.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT/Software Engineering field of study from a four-year accredited university. 7+ years of experience in the following areas:Designing, coding, fixing, and debugging software. Maintaining, upgrading, and improving the performance of existing software (Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Windows Server Operating System). Utilizing .NET frameworks, C#, and MVC model to develop web applications. Monitoring systems operations processes and assessing infrastructure activities (processing, utilization, performance, instance availability and security). Experience in configuration management and system deployment procedure.Experience in enterprise search configuration and setup.

KEY PREFERENCES:

Prior experience working with federal government. Active Moderate Risk Public Trust (Tier 2S background investigation).
