Back End Developer

Our client is building the first wealth tech data orchestration company. They sync client data across a financial advisor's tech stack, unlocking the efficiency of a fully-integrated software suite with the choice of tools that best fit their business. They are laser-focused on enabling the best technology experiences for advisors and unlocking the potential of the entire wealth tech software ecosystem. They are an experienced team of start-up operators with deep roots in both tech and advisory. Role:They are looking for an experienced backend engineer who can drive the development of their early product. As an early member of the team, you'll play a key role in shaping the product, developer experience, and team culture as we grow and scale. You’ll take end-to-end ownership over the systems that you build and work collaboratively with our cross-functional team. Your work will have a material impact on the trajectory of the company. Where you'll make an impact:Own and ship critical features across the core B2B product, integrations/external API, and platform.Ensure that backend systems and services operate smoothly in production by triaging and resolving operational issues.Help shape our engineering culture and process as we scale Requirements: Strong track record of shipping high-quality systems with high complexity and scale.Experience building high quality, delightful user-facing applications.Experience working closely with a cross-functional product team.Bias towards action and ownership – when you see a problem, you fix it.Customer-centric -- you are focused on creating the best customer experience possible.

You’ll stand out if you have:Fintech industry knowledge and experience.Experience building with leading fintech APIs (Plaid, Stripe, etc).Experience building APIs-as-a-product and/or B2B products.Experience at seed/early-stage startups (eg, being a first-3 engineer at a company).Previously started a company and/or launched personal projects.
