Java/ Microsoft .NET Developer - Raleigh, NC (Remote)

Our government client is looking for an experienced Java/ Microsoft .NET Developer on a remote 12+ months renewable contract role in Raleigh, NC. Position: Java/ Microsoft .NET Developer Note: **The candidate can choose to work remote or onsite once the team returns to site. The candidate will need to use his or her own computer until he or she starts working onsite. When the candidate is working full time on site, he or she will be given NCDIT-T equipment. Role and Responsibilities: The agency is seeking an Expert Level Java and DotNet/C# Developer for supporting agency’s existing Java based application and developing & supporting DotNet/C# based REST API services and Web Applications. The contractor must have extensive experience building Java and DotNet/C# based REST API services and Web Applications. Must possess detailed understanding and experience working with Eclipse, Microsoft Visual Studio, DotNet Core and DotNet frameworks. This individual must have proven experience with enterprise level software development programs. The contractor must have the ability to analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, and business processes. He or she must be able to document the program and project deliverables as assigned. Consult with clients to prototype, refine, and test, and debug applications and processes to meet the requirements. Required/Desired Skills and Experience:7 years of Experience in Java Web Development using Eclipse, DB2 Required7 years of Experience using Git Required5 years of Experience using Azure DevOps for Agile Application Development and deployment Required.5 years of Experience in building scalable, server-side applications using RESTful APIs.
