Location: Remote

Terms: 12 months Contract

Job Details:

Creates, modifies and maintains software applications individually or as part of a team under general supervision.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesCodes, tests, debugs, implements and documents software applications using established coding standards and methodologiesWork within an agile scrum team, contributing to an atmosphere of continuous improvementPerform code reviews to ensure adherence to best practicesUnderstands how to interpret designs and database models and effectively collaborate with ArchitectsMaster the technologies, languages, and practices used by the team and project assignedTrouble shoot and resolve issues in existing softwareContinuous performance improvement of the system Minimum QualificationsMinimum three years of HL7 development experience (implementation only will not be considered) using an industry known interface engineUnderstanding of FHIR and its primary componentsExperience with AWS or Azure cloud-based technologiesExperience with OAuth2Minimum two years EDIFecs experience (Rhapsody will be considered if three years minimum)Proven experience in developing FHIR-based solutions.Proficiency with FHIR resources, profiles, and terminology.Design, develop, and implement FHIR-based APIs and solutions.Integate FHIR interfaces with existing healthcare systems and applications.Hands-n experience with Edifecs server configuration and customization.Configure and customize Edifecs server to support FHIR implementations.Perform testing and debugging of FHIR interfaces to ensure functionality and performance.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for FHIR-related issues.

Skills/KnowledgeMust be proficient in basic programming skills and proficient in JavaScript and/or C#Strong problem-solving and analysis skillsExperience with high transactional volume systemsAbility to design and build workflows from requirements documentAbility to gather requirements from existing platformAbility to learn new development language and platforms quickly and apply that knowledge effectivelyAWS Cloud technologiesCI/CD eperience or understandingExperience working with Edifecs is a plus
