Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Mid-level Informatica Developer who will be responsible for designing and building API processes, and bulk load large volumes of data into Salesforce using Informatica. The successful applicant will operate in an Agile environment and oversee the full lifecycle development for the services/API’s working with other stakeholders on the project.
Key responsibilities:
• Analyze business requirements and work with Business analyst on clarifications.• Once the integration has been built out, documentation and hand off process. • Develop Informatica Power center ETL Mapping, Sessions and workflows and perform Unit testing.• Automated the Informatica process to update a status table in Teradata when maps are run successfully, following this a view will be run.• Develop hive scripts to perform aggregations on extracted data and load the final tables.• Develop complex mappings to load the data from multiple sources with functional logic as per business requirements.• Working with Source Analyzer, Warehouse Designer, Transformation designer, mapping designer and Workflow Manager to develop new Mappings & implement data warehouse.• Working on development of new requirements and enhancement of the existing ETL Jobs.• Populate or refresh Teradata tables using TPT – Fast load, Multi load & Fast export utilities for user acceptance Used SSIS and T-SQL stored procedures to transfer data from source databases to staging area and finally transfer into data warehouse.• Extensively used the Teradata utilities like BTEQ scripts, MLOAD and FLOAD scripts to load the huge volume of data.• Designing the SCD type1 and type2 mappings and key fact tables. Also designed and developed code set tables that will assist the dimension tables.• Create Deployment Scripts for production with Rollout/Rollback Instructions.
Must Haves:
• BS in Computer Science or a related field.• 3 – 5 years of hands-on Informatica development experience. ETL• Demonstrated development experience in Java/J2EE/JSE frameworks.• Expert in designing, building, testing, and deploying solutions in-dept knowledge of the components (i.e., API Manager, RunTime Manager, Design Center, Cloud Hub)• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with at least 2 of the following databases: Oracle, SQL Server, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, RedShift, Hana, Neo4J• Strong experience in delivering solutions confirming to the required Security standards (e.g., SSL/mutual SSL, SAML, Oauth).• Experience with Web Service technologies and architectures such as REST, SOAP, HTTP, WSDL, etc.• Ability to demonstrate JSON and XML Transformations• Exposure to source control tools like GitHub, Bitbucket; CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Gitlab or comparable toolsets• Good architectural practices • Understanding of Agile methodologies and ITSM processes.• Experience conducting root cause analysis on data and processes both within and externally to find possibilities for improvement and provide answers.• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and learn quickly.• Capable of working independently.
Nice to Haves:
• They can read Mule code and translate to Informatica.• Not all our integrations are OOB connectors, having experience connecting with in house apps and non-standard 3rd parties would be nice.• Prior experience and knowledge connecting Salesforce through MuleSoft is a plus. Experience building and optimizing ETL and ESB solutions is a plus.
