We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical background in Java and Python.
In this role, you will design, develop and maintain Vehicle Health Management(VHM) platform which predicts future failures in the vehicle and notifies customers. We are looking for an innovative continuous learner and collaborative problem solver who is driven to take ideas to production.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain VHM platform.Ensure VHMs efficiency, scalability, and reliability.Write clean, efficient, and high-quality code in Java and PythonWrite unit test cases with high coverageParticipate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software components to identify and resolve any issues or vulnerabilities.Identify and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.Keep abreast of industry trends and new technology, and educate the global team Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth Drive innovation and research in prognostics.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering degree8+ years of experience in software development (Java, Python, PySpark)Knowledge in machine learning (can we expand on technologies, tooling, etc. for ML, so key words hit)Deep working knowledge in Azure or other cloud platformsExperience with Databricks, Hadoop, HiveExperience with Docker, Kubernetes at a namespace levelExperience with OCF and AKS2+ years developing on an RDBMS such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, Yugabyte, RedisFull software development life-cycle experience with CICD and thorough testing prior to release.A passion for innovation and continuous improvement, and a desire to push the boundaries of prognostics technology Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements Demonstrated ability to process a high volume of work with high complexity with nonstandard solutions Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders

Compensation: The expected base compensation for this role is: $93,400 - $149,200 Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.Benefits: GM offers a variety of health and wellbeing benefit programs.
