Frontend Developer

Maestra (maestra.ai) is a web-based editing platform that allows users to automatically caption, transcribe, and voiceover their videos, as well as translate their subtitles to 125+ foreign languages using speech synthesis and machine learning technology. We're a US-based startup working remotely, and we're looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team.

Essential Job Functions:We are a small team with many tasks to tackle. We are looking for a developer capable of handling meaningful and sometimes challenging tasks that will be used by thousands of people every day.Collaborate with our development team to integrate new features, focusing on creating a seamless user experience.Design and develop scalable web applications using React, Redux, and Express.js, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.Primarily work on front-end development, but also write back-end code (Express.js) as needed to complete tasks.

Bonus Points:Experience with WYSIWYG text editorsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related fieldExperience with Express.js (Node.js)Knowledge of Firebase products is a plusKnowledge of cloud services such as GCP, AWS, and AzureExperience with SAAS (software as a service)
