Senior Java Developer (Spring Boot)

We have a US client looking for a senior java developer. This is a full time contractor position requiring 40hrs per week. You will be a available to work from 5am PST - 1pm PST.

Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer (Spring Boot) to join our team. In this full-time remote role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java applications using Spring Boot. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in the entire software development lifecycle, and contribute to the design and architecture of complex systems. As a Senior Java Developer, you will also mentor and provide guidance to other team members.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Spring Boot frameworkExperience in designing and building scalable and robust software applicationsKnowledge of software development best practices, design patterns, and coding standardsExperience with RESTful APIs and microservices architectureProficiency in database technologies such as MySQL or PostgreSQLExperience with version control systems like GitWorking knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptUnderstanding of agile software development methodologiesExcellent problem-solving and debugging skillsStrong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with KubernetesUnderstanding of DevOps practicesCertifications in Java programming or Spring frameworkExperience building reporting dashboard.Experience writing complex SQLWorked with Snowflake is a plusExperience working with RabbitMQ or Kafka
