Senior ServiceNow Developer

We’re looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer offering an enticing opportunity to join our team of over 100 developers at the Computacenter ServiceNow Center of Excellence. As a key member of our experienced group, which includes skilled architects and process consultants, you'll play a vital role in helping organizations optimize their use of the ServiceNow platform and transform their operations.

Responsibilities:

Delivering high-quality ServiceNow implementations based on business process requirementsResponsible for leading implementations, providing technical design lead and mentoring more junior members of the teamKeep up to date with current and future market developments, technologies, product and strategiesEnsuring adherence to our coding and design standards, and providing technical hand-over documentationIncreasing application operating efficiency and adapting to new requirements, as necessaryAssisting with system testing and UATEscalate issues in line with company processes to ensure customer demands are metAttend and present at customer meetings to ensure understanding of customer requirements and to assist with knowledge transferRecording, qualification and questioning of customer requirements, even in complex projects and in the case of unclear customer requirements

Requirements:

Proven knowledge and experience in multiple areas of the ServiceNow platform, including functionality, database structure, developer APIs, development tools, and techniquesOver 5 years of experience in similar roles within the ServiceNow ecosystemSkills and experience in Web Technologies (e.g. Javascript, SOAP/REST web services, XML & JSON, Angular.js, Seismic)Ability to provide technical leadership and support to Process ConsultantsSoftware Development Lifecycle experience in Agile and Waterfall projectsEffective communication skills and be a team player, capable of building collaborative working relationships in a dynamic customer-facing environment
