Job Title: Mobile App Developer (iOS)
Location: Willis Tower, Chicago, IL (The contractor needs to report to Willis Tower every Wednesday of the week and Remote for the rest of the week)
Job Summary:
Create, maintain, and implement the source code to develop mobile apps and programs that meet the needs and requirements of the clients using computer programming languages.
Primary Responsibilities:
Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support). Produce fully functional mobile applications by writing clean code. Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions. Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions. Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance. Design interfaces to improve the user experience. Liaise with the Product development team to plan new features. Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards. Research and suggest new mobile products, applications, and protocols. Stay up-to-date with new technology trends.
Qualifications:
Proven work experience as a Mobile developer. Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App Store or the Android market. In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language like Swift and Java. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
Tech Skills (IOS):
Swift: Mastery of Apple's programming language for iOS development is essential
iOS Frameworks: Deep knowledge of iOS frameworks like UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation, and Core Graphics.
Auto Layout: Proficiency in designing responsive UIs using Auto Layout
Design Patterns: Understanding and application of design patterns like MVC, MVVM
CocoaPods and Swift Package Manager: Familiarity with dependency management tools for iOS projects.
Accessibility: Understanding of iOS accessibility guidelines and best practices.
Debugging: Advanced debugging skills using Xcode's debugging tools and Instruments.
