Senior Python Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Developer with knowledge of Python and Dot Net (C#) programming languages to build functional and efficient server-side applications. The Senior Developer will be responsible for developing comprehensive solutions to existing and new engagements across the product portfolio. As a technical expert, the Sr Developer will translate business problems and challenges into realistic and feasible solutions to capture data combining product, business, and technical capabilities.

This position will drive technical solutions and troubleshooting and be responsible for technology implementation and rollout on the primary product or application launches. Further, this position will manage the daily activity of a small team of developers including scheduling and code reviews.Essential Job Functions:1. Own the technical solutions by meeting with business owners, internal teams, and vendors to gather and document technical requirements for assigned projects.2. Design and document solution architecture and integration strategies based on customer needs, incorporating business, application, data, and infrastructure designs.3. Act as the Sr Software Developer, providing guidance and direction to supporting analysts and developers.4. Create project effort estimates, assist with quality assurance, and act as key contact and/or support for audits5. Collaborate closely with departments across the organization to ensure solutions are feasible, legal, compliant with privacy6. Stay current on technology, tools, and best practices and apply them to project(s) accordingly.7. Contribute to overall Technology Strategy and Architecture Roadmap development.8. Manage and coach team members for role performance, career progression, and skill development as needed (i.e., set goals, provide performance feedback, and conduct performance reviews).

Other Responsibilities:- Abide by the policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct of the company.- Handle personal information (“PI”) that pertains to any individual (e.g., leads, dealers, employees, job applicants, etc.) in accordance with Privacy Policy and public-facing privacy statements on managed websites.- Leverage knowledge of platform capabilities and features to ideate new product opportunities or efficiency enhancements; participate in new product/capability innovation- Complete any required training.- Promptly report any known or suspected loss, theft, or unauthorized disclosure or use of PI to the General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer or Chief Information Officer.- Adhere to the company’s compliance program.- Safeguard the company’s intellectual property, information, and assets.- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:- Experience interfacing with business and technical teams (5+ years).- Solid experience as Python Developer (5+ years)- Experience with Dot Net (C#) (nice to have)- APIs in NodeJS (nice to have)- MongoDB (nice to have)- Understanding of databases and SQL (5+)- JavaScript development and troubleshooting experience including use of Chrome Developer and similar tools (5+ years)
