Overview
As a CPQ Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and implementing quoting flows through the CPQ platform. Your expertise will contribute to a streamlined sales experience, efficient pricing, product configuration, and document generation. Your role will directly be responsible for features used everyday by TierPoint’s Sales organization, and impact downstream teams like Implementations and Support to create a truly holistic product model at TierPoint.
Tierpoint is modernizing their technology stack and this position is an opportunity to be part of the beginning stages of implementation. Training and mentorship with the new platform would be part of the onboarding process.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Product Development, to release changes to production Implement CPQ best practices based on business needs and requirements Create and maintain products and pricing in servicePath CPQ, including standalone and bundle products Configure bundles, product rules, price rules, discount schedules, pricing, cost, contracted prices, quote templates, and quote processes Ownership of the CPQ implementation throughout all phases of development
Qualifications
Generally, the ideal candidate has six to twelve months of experience in a CPQ role. Familiarity with a CPQ platform and terminology, bonus for ServicePath experience. Ability to troubleshoot and solve basic platform issues Proficiency in building solutions to support business processes. Strong understanding of quoting flows and CPQ concepts. General familiarity of with conditional logic and data structures associated with programming languages. Experience working with multiple departments and or teams to understand requirements for system enhancements.
Preferred Experience
Familiarly with products sold by a technology services vendor like Tierpoint Experience with ServicePath Experience administering a cloud-based application
