Senior Dotnet Developer

Job Summary You will manage a team of developers on a certain project/s where you will be responsible for the design, development, integration, verification and maintenance of software solutions. You will be responsible for the technical design of features, own the team’s delivery on quality of code and develop software solution that meets the customers’ need with continuous contribution in the process improvement cycle.

Job Objectives Take ownership for the team’s delivery, train, evaluate new technologies, feasibility studies for internal implementations.

Job Responsibilities

Technical Delivery Responsibilities: Architecture & Development Full ownership of development team delivery, provide technical advice, code review, solution architecture guidanceDesign technology solutions in alignment with letsremotify’s architectural standardsInvestigate performance and technical issues from productionBe responsible for the implementation of new development ideasLead development and implementation of enterprise solutions or a component of the solutionWork with clients and other key stakeholders to ensure that the solution’s vision and overall architecture design is understood and agreed upon significant architectural quality attributes Actively contribute to architecture and project reviewCreate and maintain technical design documents (TDD) based on user requirementsImplement feasibility studies, prepare battle card with pros and cons

Project Maintenance & Best Practices Build solution development processes, documentation, and knowledge banksEscalate interdependencies and problem areas at the right time with the manager and arrive at solutionsTrain the team with the new technologies, solutions developmentManage .Net applications, apps coach mechanisms, apps on high availability setup, Enterprise apps based on .NetManage exposing API’s on .Net, .Net migrationsManage and work on Webpage lifecycles, Web securities, apply best practices in web developmentManage and work on application of DB replication, Radius Cache` and Varnesh, Headless ImplementationTrain customer on the developed solutionJointly responsible with the IT Operations team to deploy solution on the different environments

Managerial Responsibilities: Employee Development & Performance Management Effectively use performance management mechanism to ensure growth and development of each individual team member - setting clear objectives, scheduling periodical informal performance conversations and formal review sessions, providing constructive feedbackSupport & guide individual employees in the team to achieve work and personal development goals through coaching and mentoringEnsure training need analysis is done for Team Members and that the chartered training programs are administered properly

Processes, Best Practices & Work Standard Management Ascertain that the work processes and tools followed by the Team are effectual and of high-performance standardsEstablish and document best practicesClosely monitor & audit the processes of the team to ensure the quality & work standards are maintainedEvaluate the efficacy of the tools and constantly update them

Job Requirements

Educational Qualification Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related area) preferredPrevious Work Experience3 + years of experience in – web development specially .Net implementationsHands on experience in .Net, C#, .NetCore, Web API’s and web applicationsWorking knowledge of databases (SQL Server)Excellent experience in web application trouble shooting and bug fixing along with strong ability to perform quick wins for production issuesExperience in leading a team in different geo locations

Skills and Abilities Knowledge of High Availability solutions and Disaster RecoveryAbility to work well with a team in a fast paced, constantly changing environmentExcellent knowledge in .Net, Windows & Linux OSWorked on Enterprise level solutionsExcellent knowledge in APIs building and integrations with multiple systemsDevOps skills like o Azure pipelines -Managing the code repo, code branches -Understanding and knowledge of devops cycle and relevant tools like Continuous Testing, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration/Deployment Tools Self-motivated, and self-developing, passion for quality and solving problems in complex computing environmentsAbility to think logically and pay close attention to detail, process orientedAbility to lead a strong technical team with diversified backgrounds and technical skillsAbility to manage and guide resources in recent technologiesGood to have skills, -Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, etc. -Containers, Kubernetes
