Mid-Level C++ Developer - Computer Vision

Location: Fully Remote (Based in the Wroclaw area)

Join our R&D team to pioneer innovative projects in computer vision and algorithm development for industry automation. We're in search of a Mid-Senior-Level Engineer with a strong background in C++ and Computer Vision. Your primary responsibility will be to develop C++ computer vision algorithms, utilizing a custom-made computer vision library and porting the algorithms from existing Matlab implementations.

Your work will be integral to a top US Tech company's environment, significantly influencing the quality of their consumer electronics devices sold globally in large volumes.

In this role, you'll engage directly with various customer stakeholders within an agile environment. We're looking for someone with a hands-on, proactive approach, coupled with effective communication skills.

Requirements:· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).· Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in C++ development, with a preference for those experienced in computer vision applications.· Proficiency in C++, including experience with modern standards (C++17 and above).· Proficient in MATLAB and experience with Python· Ability to work independently, analyze and troubleshoot software issues, along with the capability to propose effective technical solutions.· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for effective customer interaction.· Possession of a valid work permit in Germany or residency in an EU country.

Nice-to-have:Familiarity with multithreading and GPU programming.Knowledge of Objective-CUnderstanding of software development for Linux and/or MacOS
