WCM Portal Developer

Roles and Responsibilities:Provide an expert level of skills and knowledge in the evaluation, development, testing and delivery of HCL DX application and business process developments.Collaborate with the business in identifying functional requirements for process groups, and create corresponding technical specificationsCreate and modify HCL DX WCM configurations using defined development standards, procedures, and design specificationsDevelop test scripts, perform unit testing, and contribute to integration testing of development objectsProvide technical support to end users; diagnose and resolve application-related issues, identify root causes, as well as institute corrective actions and preventive measures.Carry out detailed impact assessments for proposed change requests, proposing alternative cost-effective solutions where appropriate.Ensure Change Controls are developed, tested & released according to an agreed schedule and ensure all high business impact changes are escalated as appropriate.Expected to be involved in support activities and a number of development activities and to have developed excellent business process design skills.

Requirements:At minimum of 5-6 years of experience in WCM/Portal 8/8.5/9 development.Very good understanding of JAVA/J2EEVery good portlet development knowledgeGood knowledge of HTML/HTML 5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, DojoGood knowledge of latest portal and bootstrap theme developmentGood Portal administrative skillsAbility to design solutions and implement in WCM/Portal environment.Personalization and search configurationsExtensive knowledge on WCM componentsCustom WCM items like workflows/plugins/JSPsPreferable knowledge on dockers, container and KubernetesExpert on WCM APIExpert on REST APIXMLAccess import/export skillsWCM Debugging skillsSVN version managementGood communication skills in English language.
