Software Developer II - Full-Stack - Colombia 🇨🇴

As a Software Developer at CaseWare, you’ll design, develop, test, and deploy front-end applications and microservices to support the Caseware Cloud Platform. You will be a part of the Data Analytics department committed to delivering state-of-the-art data lifecycle management and analytic solutions that enable our global distributor network to develop and customize products that fit their market needs. You will collaborate with multiple agile squads to build a platform capable of running thousands of concurrent import & analytic jobs in parallel with datasets ranging in size from MB’s to GB’s.

What you will be doingDesign, test and implement solutions through all phases of the software development lifecycleStay up to date with the latest technologies and trends, implementing proof of concepts and presenting innovative ideas & architecture to contribute towards the development of our engineering cultureProvide technical mentorship to other developers on the team through such practices as code reviews, pair programming, and collaborative solution designRepresent the team in technical discussions with Team Leads, Product, Design, and all other external stakeholdersKeep your team’s technical architecture documentation up to date and enforce development best practices to safeguard your codebaseParticipate in the team on-call rotation helping to identify and eliminate persistent root causes for problems that affect your customers and teamCollaborate closely with DevOps/DevSuccess to drive iterative improvements to your team’s build system, test automation, and CI/CD pipelinesParticipate in 24/7 production support rotation for the systems your team manages, driving continuous improvement in this area through post-mortems and root cause analysis

What you’ll bring:Minimum 3 years of experience writing production-grade front-end applications using TypeScript/Angular, NgXS, RxJS (or other related modern front-end technology)Minimum 3 years experience with REST or GraphQL API microservice development using one of the following languages / frameworks: Java 11+ / Spring Boot, TypeScript / NodeJS)Experience building complex solutions in the public cloud (AWS preferred) and overall knowledge with SaaS or PaaSProven experience applying design patterns to solve technical problemsStrong English language communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have:Understanding of Accounting, Auditing or Financial concepts
