The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Frameworks group at Microsoft develops the AI software used to train and deploy the world’s most advanced AI models. We are looking for a Software Engineer II-AI Compilers, Full-Stack Web Developer who is passionate about Data Collection and Visualization and building the best experience for our compiler engineers. Responsibilities
Design and develop AI software and tools in Python, C/C++, and other languages. Develop and integrate Azure pipelines for profiling and analyzing AI workloads on novel hardware platforms. Design and develop custom web-based dashboards for visualizing internal performance data for our AI workloads. Collaborate broadly across multiple disciplines from hardware architects to Machine Language(ML) developers. Identify requirements, scope solutions, estimate work, schedule deliverables. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, or JavaScriptOR equivalent experience.1+ year experience with Python.
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings. Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ year experience developing web-based dashboards and web applications for data visualization. Experience or interest in building automation tools for data collection and performance analysis. Experience using modern web development frameworks and building custom web components. A good technical background and foundation in software engineering principles. Good intellectual curiosity and passion about learning new technologies. Effective cross-team collaboration skills and communication skills. A commitment to a diverse and inclusive workgroup culture.
Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
