Full Stack Developer & Software Engineer

Key Role:

Build creative systems solutions to drive the next wave of innovation from vision to production-ready system. Apply passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. Use Agile life cycle development to build web-based applications. Analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment as well as future functionality and enhancements.

Basic Qualifications:

3+ years of experience developing software solutions with Java or Spring, and developing software solutions using AngularExperience with DevOps, DevSecOps, and orchestration and containerization toolsExperience with Oracle, AWS DynamoDB, and AWS RDS PostgreSQLExperience working with data structures and algorithms, processing and storage, and working with OCR or text extraction from common document formatsExperience with Microservices, Docker, or GitLabExperience with source control softwareExperience delivering software following an Agile SDLCKnowledge of Microservices and Service Oriented ArchitecturesAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science

Additional Qualifications:

Experience working with Textract or Tesseract OCRExperience with Jenkins and Docker preferredAbility to pay strict attention to detail and accuracyPossession of excellent decision making, critical thinking, and problem solving skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
