Senior Frontend Developer

Macher Tecnologia is recruiting two Senior Front-end developers to support one of its clients developing software technologies for the transportation industry.

As the work will be performed globally, English (business / fluent) is a must-have.

The selected professional will join us at our Rio de Janeiro office, on a remote setting. Only candidates from this location will be considered.

As a Senior frontend Engineer, you’ll be a key contributor to our client's user-facing Mobile Videoapplications for Transit and ensuring seamless and delighlul experiences for our users. Yourexpertise in front-end technologies will drive innovaJon and elevate the product interfaces.

Responsibilities:• Architect, design, and develop responsive and performant web applications.• Collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers to implement user interfaces.• Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.• Mentor junior front-end engineers and contribute to their growth.• Stay up to date with the latest front-end trends and best practices.

Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent.• Experience: 3+ years of professional front-end development experience.• JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.• Frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.• Responsive design and mobile-first development.• RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.• UI/UX design principles.• State management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).• Unit testing and test-driven development.• Frontend performance profiling and optimization.• Strong problem-solving and communicaJon skills.

Preferred Qualifications:• Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) and service workers.• Internationalization (i18n) and accessibility (a11y) best practices.• GraphQL or other API query languages.
