Congo Brand's goal is to be the go-to ‘Better for You Brand' for everything from nutritional supplements, energy drinks, snacks and much more.The Role: The Front-End Web Developer will have a strong focus on ecommerce platforms, such as SuiteCommerce, and Shopify, and utilize performance tools, accessibility audits, A/B testing and automated testing to ensure great customer experiences across all Congo Brands websites. The Front-End Web Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors, leveraging their skills and industry knowledge to drive user experience improvements, increase sales, and contribute to overall company growth. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and implement brand web standards for all online properties. Build pixel-perfect responsive recreations of designs. Work with different teams to enhance the UI/UX of their platforms. Work closely with the Applications and Development Manager to deliver high-quality applications for internal and external systems. Optimize performance and accessibility of existing online properties. Assist with A/B testing of new UI/UX elements on various online properties. Develop and maintain company websites on SuiteCommerce, Shopify, and other platforms. Maintain and utilize version control in multiple codebases. Create custom email templates for various marketing platforms. Assist in gathering and refining technical specifications and requirements to ensure design solutions meet business needs. Manage multiple high-priority projects and tasks under deadlines. Gather required data from key stakeholders to evaluate goals, objectives, and scope. Leverage a range of soft and technical skills to accomplish business objectives. Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to improve company strategies and processes. Work effectively with external vendors and third-party developers. Perform other duties as assigned. Key Skills and Experience Preferred: 2+ years in a UI/UX/Frontend role in an e-commerce environment. 2+ years working with project management tools, i.e. Azure DevOps, SmartSheets, or ClickUp. 2+ years working with a NetSuite SuiteCommerce framework. 2+ years working with a Shopify theme framework. Knowledgeable about best web practices and web accessibility. Has a strong grasp of optimizing the performance optimization of websites. Proficient with CSS/JS/HTML/SASS/Node/Gulp. Strong frontend QA skills. Experience working with web 3d tools such as Three.js is a plus. Proficient in Git version control. Comfortable with merges and conflict resolution to maintain code integrity and support collaborative development workflows. Comfortable working with and adhering to established code standards. Comfortable using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, or Illustrator. Familiarity with automated testing frameworks. A strong understanding of development and programming best practices across programming languages and developer environments. The ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality work standards, working independently and collaboratively. Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. A strong interest in staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, while learning pre-existing technologies that the company still relies on.
