Front-end Developer

Role DescriptionWe are seeking a talented Front-End Developer to join our dynamic Programming team. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in shaping the user interface of Aurora Medical Software, ensuring an exceptional user experience for our clients. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will leverage your expertise in front-end technologies to drive innovation, maintain code quality, and enhance system performance. This role requires a proactive mindset, and a deep understanding of user behaviour and expectations in the healthcare domain.

Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and backend engineering to develop and implement front-end solutions that meet business objectives and user needs. Lead the development and maintenance of front-end codebase, ensuring high quality, performance and maintainability. Drive continuous improvement of front-end code, systems and processes through innovative thinking and best practices. Communicate technical design trade-offs and solutions effectively to business partners, translating technical concepts into layman's terms when necessary. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in front-end technologies and evaluate their applicability to our system. Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.

Tech Stack 4+ years of experience in front-end development, with a strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end frameworks such as Vue.js. Extensive experience in building single-page applications (SPAs) using modern front-end tools and technologies, including Vite and TypeScript. Strong understanding of web and application design optimization techniques for speed, scalability, and performance. Proficiency in Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development workflows. Knowledge of the Laravel PHP Framework would be advantageous for developing the platform's API.

Desired Experience and Attributes At least 4 years of experience in front-end development in a commercial environment. Two or more years’ experience with Agile development methodologies. Hands-on project building in a Cloud, ideally AWS environment. Ability to work autonomously.
