Sr. SQL developer

ITC Infotech is looking for a Sr. SQL Developer to join the US team.Location: Remote Your X-FactorWork ethic - You are a consummate professional.Aptitude - You have an innate capacity to transition from project to project without skipping a beat.Communication - You have excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordination across projects and teams.Impact - You are a critical thinker with an emphasis on creativity and innovation.Passion - You have the drive to succeed paired with a continuous hunger to learn.Leadership - You are trusted, empathetic, accountable, and empower others around you.What you’ll do: Perform day-to-day operations (includes monitoring and maintenance, problem investigation and resolution, database optimization and tuning, etc.).Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.Development of high-quality database solutions Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using SQL.Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.Independently analyze and correct issues in real time, providing end-to-end problem resolution.Evaluate business data and recommend appropriate analytic approaches/strategies to achieve stated objectives.Establish best practices for SQL Developers.Apply data modeling techniques to ensure integration and performance expectations are met as well as allow for future flexibility to meet changing business needs.Strong software development skills in detailed application design, database design, object-oriented concepts, and Abstraction/Dependency Injection patterns Strong Experience in integrating with integration software such as MuleSoft, AWS API Management, Rest API, or equivalent middleware solutions. Strong knowledge of relational database concepts, SQL queries, NoSQL Experience with Draw.IO or other design toolsStrong focus on testing during development Experience with CI/CDExperience with JIRA or some comparable tool

Must Haves:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master's degree preferred).Must have 8-10 years of experience in SQLArchitect, build and deliver products that delight customers with scalable and maintainable code under the hood. Responsible for the design, implementation, unit testing, performance and monitoring of the team’s solutions. Proven expertise at consuming REST services and dealing with error cases. Ensure consistent process and provide technical guidance during business requirements and specifications development phases.Provide oversight, assistance, and guidance to development of the application security architecture supporting the applications.Should be comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources.Responsible for ensuring quality through design reviews, code reviews and development of standards.Serve as a mentor to team members by demonstrating alternate techniques, reviewing code, and strengthening skills.Must be able to interact well with multiple priorities in an extremely dynamic environment, initiating necessary tasks and ensuring complete follow up. Researches and recommends appropriate application development best practices, and tools.Develop new functionality on our existing software products and Provide development support and assistance for escalations and issues.
