Job Description:As a Cloud Developer at Crum & Forster, you will be part of a dynamic team working on cutting-edge projects that blend computer science, statistics, math, and AI to innovate within the property and casualty insurance sector. You will play a crucial role in building and deploying applications that use LLM’s, specifically Azure OpenAI and AWS Bedrock. It would be good to have knowledge of machine learning models, predictive analytics, and handling various data engineering tasks to enhance our insurance solutions and services.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based solutions and applications using AWS, Azure, and other cloud technologies.Work closely with the AI team to integrate Azure OpenAI and other Large Language Models (LLM) into our projects.Develop and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines using Python, SQL, and other relevant technologies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure and applications. Stay abreast of new cloud technologies and AI trends to incorporate into future projects.Required Skills:Proficiency in Python, AWS, SQL, and Azure.Experience with Azure OpenAI, React, and Large Language Models (LLM).Strong understanding of cloud architecture and design principles.Ability to work on complex projects that require knowledge of computer science, statistics, math, and AI. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Desired Skills:Experience with other cloud services such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Java or Scala.Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.Experience in the insurance industry, particularly in property & casualty, is a plusQualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in cloud development or a related role.
