£55,000 - £65,000 DOE

Full Stack Developer - As a disruptor within financial services my client is constantly enhancing its innovative bespoke, cutting edge platform - which enables the business to continue to implement and expand a broad range of products to residential and commercial customers.

Our client is actively seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Developer to join their team and contribute towards the continual success of their robust market leading innovative platform.

What will I be doing?

As an experienced Full Stack Software Developer you will join an experienced development team, contributing toward the continual enhancements of my clients innovative platform - improving the code base, building reusable and scalable web-based products

Collaborate with developers to ensure system consistency and implement ground-breaking features that drive my clients aggressive growth plans

Developing solutions following recognised code standards and design patterns

Contribute with peer-reviews to ensure high levels of test and code quality, and provide suggestions and guidance where necessary

Work across multiple work streams, including projects and BAU tickets, and self-manage ticket updates and provide test/deployment criteria

Participate in the entire application lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment, maintenance, debugging

Communicate with internal stakeholders to gather and address technical and design requirements

Requirements 5+ years’ experience developing on enterprise SaaS platforms

Experience or knowledge designing services and applications using container services on the public cloud

Object Orientated PHP version 7.4 or higher

Symfony framework (v5 or higher) and Doctrine ORM

RDS query authoring experience (e.g. MySQL, MariaDB)

Able to work with and integrate APIs - REST, SOAP, XML, JSON

Front-end development languages including. HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Sass

Current experience developing applications using React, Redux and Typescript

Understanding of development environment configurations (e.g. Docker, Vagrant) and comfortable the version control (e.g. GitLab)

Extensive knowledge of end to end web development process - design, test, development and deployment.

Additional skills - not essential:

Experience developing services and applications on AWS

DevOps related knowledge including deployment pipelines, container services and image repositories, compute services and serverless

Knowledge of Search and Queue services (e.g. Elastic Search, SQS) is advantageous
