One of our four portfolio companies, Leadpages is a platform that makes it easy for marketing agencies & teams to build no-code websites and landing pages. What does a day look like in my role?Front-end Developers at Leadpages are experts in writing React/Javascript/Typescript applications and contributing to our company’s collection of reusable components. Additionally we are looking for someone in this role with extensive UI/UX experience to guide and answer questions from our engineering team and convert older UI libraries into our newer more modern equivalents.
All developers are expected to be able to take on tasks and stories and drive them to completion, collaborating with the product and marketing teams to ensure stakeholder needs are met.
As a Front-end Developer at Leadpages, you will have the opportunity to build, develop and test features for our SaaS applications used by thousands of users. Our engineers are experts in their craft and are always striving to improve and develop new skills. You will work both on a team of engineers for large projects, and solo for bugs and smaller tasks.
*We are open to hiring in both Canada and the US and if you are located in Minneapolis MN, or Victoria BC, that is an added bonus but is not required.

After 1 monthYou will understand the product roadmap and where you fit into itYou will have completed a number of bugs and stories and shipped code to ProductionYou are becoming very familiar with the development process and are feeling comfortable in itYou will have completed your evaluation of UI Frameworks and put together a plan for converting them to our more modern equivalents
After 6 monthsYou will have a clear understanding of the full breadth of our application and tech stackYou have coordinated with other developers and teams on several projectsYou are feeling very productive and are hungry to contribute and learn moreYou will have converted one or more existing frameworks to React/Material UI
What we would like to see in you:4+ years of professional experience as a front-end developer3+ years of experience working with JS/Typescript and the React library3+ years of experience as a UI/UX Specialist (portfolios welcome)Bachelors or advanced degree in IT, computer science, engineering, business, design, human-computer interaction or related field or equivalent work experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelinesExperience working in dynamic development environments that require code reviews
