Job Description Summary
iTrip (www.iTrip.com) is looking for a Lead Developer to join our growing team. Responsibilities include deep knowledge and understanding of the entire product portfolio; architecting new systems, products, and services; maintaining existing APIs and developing new ones; implementing changes to the database and service model; creating new modules; developing integrations with 3rd-party platforms; assisting the development team in their tasks.
Must be highly-skilled in the technologies listed below and possess excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be a full stack developer (JavaScript/PHP/MySQL) with SysAdmin/DevOps experience in AWS and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment where each team-member is vital to the overall success of the product.
What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)
Maintain existing systems with attention to detail. Build new modules - Translate design vision provided by the management team into scalable SaaS solutions. Work with the rest of the development team to develop and maintain regression testing strategy and infrastructure Architect systems and define design vision Collaborate with team in defining architecture and identify potential risks to successful implementation Lead database design and modeling Collaborate with Cloud Engineering on DevOps and SysAdmin tasks as necessary Work with support team to troubleshoot and maintain existing modules Follow SDLC and coding conventions provided Ensure code and infrastructure complies with all security standards (PCI Level I) Lead the development team in triaging any emergency issues that may arise
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications)
PHP 8.x Linux and bash scripting MySQL Data Design/Modeling Familiarity with Git/GitHub Expert level experience developing REST style services that deliver responses in both JSON and XML. Modern JavaScript (es2016+), jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS. Mobile (responsive) development Experience guiding a team through developing a culture of testing is a plus. Experience with common integration pipeline tools such as: Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or other equivalent tooling. System monitoring and tuning for performance Exception debugging and handling Security scanning/PCI Compliance Candidates with experience on equivalent tech stack components will be considered.
