About The Opportunity
As a Development Engineer, you will be responsible for being a primary contributor to the design, development, and maintenance of our software products. You will work closely with your peers to understand customer requirements and translate them into functional software solutions. In this role, you will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
This is a remote role and is open to applicants residing in Canada or the US.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Intermediate/developing professional expertise of the designing, developing, and maintaining of complex software systemsComplete work within guidelines set by your teammates to address moderate, well-scoped issuesCollaborate with others and build internal and external working relationshipsAbility to work independently with general supervision
Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field2-4 years of experience in software engineeringExperience building services and modular code in TypescriptExperience with Figma, styling processors, and designing modular styled componentsExperience with Continuous Integration concepts and toolsExperience delivering highly available and reliable systemsExperience mentoring other developersGood communication skills, both verbal and writtenBest practices utilizing RESTful API calls or GraphqlExperience with Node.jsExperience with React or Vue.js – Next/Nuxt.jsExperience interacting with both NoSQL stores like Mongo or Cassandra, and SQL databases like MySQL and Postgres
Nice to have:
Experience with Amazon Web Service APIs (or SDKs) and event-driven architectureFamiliarity with Docker or Podman and KubernetesExperience working in an agile environmentExposure to multiple programming languagesReactive programming experience
The base salary range for this position is $110,200 - $122,400 USD for US residents OR $95,900 - $106,600 CAD for Canadian residents. Other countries will differ. Range may vary on a number of factors including, but not limited to: location, experience and qualifications.
