Senior PHP Developer

Position: PHP WordPress DeveloperLocation: India Remote

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled PHP WordPress Developer with extensive experience in WooCommerce, custom plugin development, integrating payment gateways, and developing PHP applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites and applications that meet our clients' needs. You will work closely with our design and development teams to ensure seamless integration and exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and applications using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.Implement and customize WooCommerce functionalities to meet specific business requirements.Create, modify, and maintain custom WordPress plugins and themes.Integrate various payment gateways into WooCommerce, ensuring secure and efficient transactions.Develop standalone PHP applications that integrate with WordPress and other systems.Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure high-quality project delivery.Troubleshoot and resolve website, plugin, and application issues promptly.Optimize website and application performance and ensure best practices in coding and security.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our products and services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Proven experience as a PHP WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio of WordPress websites and PHP applications.In-depth knowledge of WooCommerce, including setup, customization, and extension development.Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.Experience in developing custom WordPress plugins and themes.Strong understanding of payment gateway integration (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, Authorize.Net).Proven experience in developing standalone PHP applications.Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or React.Knowledge of SEO best practices.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with website performance optimization and security best practices.
