Sr Developer, Front End

ResponsibilitiesResponsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact within a web applicationDevelop new user-facing featuresBuild reusable code and libraries for future useWork with and contribute to internal component librariesEnsure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designsOptimize application for maximum speed and scalabilityEnsure changes are validated before submitting to back-endCollaborate with other team members and stakeholdersHelp nurture the talent of our junior developers with hands-on mentoringDevelop functional and appealing web- and mobile-based applications based on usabilityProvide website maintenance, bug fixing, and enhancementsWrite functional requirement documents and specificationsCreate quality mockups and prototypes on tight timelinesAssist back-end developers with coding and troubleshootingContribute to API design discussionsCreate cascading style sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platformsOther duties as assigned Experience4+ years of experience working as a developer or a combination of education and experience in this fieldSolid web experience and strong architecture skills to drive our solutions forward. SkillsProficient understanding of React and TypeScriptKnowledge of architecting large single page applicationsProficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around themProficient understanding of code versioning toolsKnowledge of GraphQL and working with a React GraphQL framework is a plus Education, Certifications, Licenses

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
