Conexess Group is aiding a large healthcare client in their search for a Pega Developer/Architect in a remote capacity. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide leadership and direction on configuring the Pega environmentProvide technical leadership in End to End project delivery utilizing latest features and tools available in the platformDrive Pega methodology delivery processes in the design and implementation of applicationsLead and mentor the team in the compilation, delivery and maintenance of deliverables for all project phasesProvide support and technical governance focused on one or more projectsLead knowledge transfer of Pega functionality and application functionality to business partnersDrive quality and best practices within the project team to ensure delivery successMaintain advanced knowledge of the Pega Architecture and all Pega design and implementation featuresDemonstrate a solid understanding of reuse in terms of enterprise solutions seeking to determine and develop repeatable, efficient and optimal ways of implementing PegaMaintain advanced knowledge about latest features and tools provided by Pega platformConstantly define or refine Pega Best Practices and guidelines. Consistently design optimal deliverables without unnecessary complexity which enables customer enablement and long-term ownershipTriage, troubleshoot, and resolve software and infrastructure issues. Work with business partners and the OnBase ECM team to analyze business requirements and build functional specifications, including but not limited to interface changes and process flows. Plan for and test software updates, defects, and configuration changes. Works closely with client and IT management and staff to identify application development solutions, new or modified programs, reuse of existing code through the use of program development software alternatives, or integration of purchased solutions or a combination of the available alternatives. Documents, tests, implements and provides on-going support for the applications.
Desired Skills and Experience:
8+ years of experience in building and implementing enterprise-level solutions on the Pega platformExpertise in all phases of software development including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of large-scale, business centric and process-based applicationsExpert knowledge of Pega Architecture and all Pega design and implementation featuresExpertise in a variety of technologies, including, but not limited to Application Servers, programming languages, databases, and integration techniquesCompletion of training and certification of Pega Certified Lead System Architect (PCLSA)Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, partner and collaborateGeneral understanding of Healthcare management systems- specific focus on Medicare and Medicaid is preferredFlexibility and experience working as Individual Contributor and as member of a teamExperience with: Java; HTML; JavaScript; .NET; C#; Web Services
