Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to play a key role in supporting delivery of the technical roadmap during a time of digital change and transformation. In this role, you will:Implement new software programsIntegrate software components and third-party programs (backend development)Provide technical recommendations regarding technology and solutionsRecommend and execute improvementsCreate technical-level documentationWork as part of a Scrum team and provide regular updates
Core Requirements:Java 17 proficiency (will consider Java 8 onwards)Proficiency in Spring BootFamiliarity with DockerTest-Driven DevelopmentKnowledge of Web API/Web ServiceProficiency in SQL (design, development, and performance monitoring)Experience with Continuous Development and Deployment processesSource control experience (GIT or equivalent)Ability to set out code and development standards
Nice to have:Experience with Azure DevOps sprint managementFamiliarity with automated testing processes and strong problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of the Scrum development lifecycleExperience with GraphQLExperience guiding a small team of developersFamiliarity with the Play framework
