Full Stack Software Developer - Latin America

We are a small custom software development company with clients ranging from startups inventing the next great app, to large fortune 100 companies. We are a fun, informal group that loves building and supporting custom apps for our clients. We all work remotely out of our home offices and use modern online collaboration tools to keep everyone on the same page. We specialize in building custom applications that run on the cloud for our various customers. We use a few different JavaScript stacks for building the applications, as well as some specialized low code platforms, such as Servoy. Training will be provided as needed, but strong core JavaScript skills are required.

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Developer to join our global team in Latin America. Within Brazil is preferred, but wider Latin America will be considered. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications from the front-end to the back-end. You will work closely with our team of developers, designers, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. This particular position will primarily focus on our large customer. in the global logistics industry.

Responsibilities:• Develop and maintain software applications from the front-end to the back-end• Design, create, and modify applications according to client specifications • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software features• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code• Troubleshoot and debug software issues• Meet daily for internal SCRUM meetings• Discuss and demonstrate progress on weekly customer meetings

Candidates outside of Latin America will not be considered.

Requirements• 3+ years of experience in Full Stack Software Development• Proficiency in programming languages. JavaScript at a minimum, Java and Python are a plus.• Experience with some front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js• Experience with some back-end frameworks and technologies such as Tomcat or Node.js• Understating of Object Orient Programming concepts• Strong understanding of database technologies such as MySQL• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills• Strong communication and collaboration skills• Experience working with a team within SVN or Git version control systems• Fluency in English and Spanish, both verbal and written. Meetings are primarily in English but there is a multi-lingual staff that can clarify any details as needed.
