We are in search for a remote Senior ABAP Developer with Node.js and SAPUI5.

Our ideal candidate has extensive experience in ABAP application design and architecture concepts, as well as working in a developer team on highly reusable libraries to solve business challenges in an entire domain. The candidate should have a great understanding of object-oriented programming and software development best practices, and be able to coach other developers on application design and architecture to build a stable, supportable and observable system. Excellent English language skills and the ability to interact and coordinate with teams in multi-site, international locations is a must.

Responsibilities

Implementing scalable applications in a service-oriented architecture within ABAP OO Designing successor applications in a complex eco-system Building APIs with ABAP Gateway Service Builder and consuming OData APIs of other systemsDesign observability and correctional tools for operations and support teams Working in a developers team on highly reusable libraries to solve business challenges in an entire domain

Requirements

3+ years of experience in ABAP DevelopmentExcellent experience in ABAP Application design and architecture conceptsMastery of ABAP OO and ABAP language additions above 7.54Experience with data modelling and evolving data modelsExperience in SAP CAP based Node.js and SAPUI5B2+ English level

Nice to have

Experience with SAP ABAP in S/4HANA and OData Experience in coaching other developers on application design and architecture to build a stable, supportable and observable systemExperience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
