Intermediate Level React.js Developer (with MongoDB and Node.js experience)

You must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take the lead on innovations and projects.

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for an Intermediate Level React.js Developer with MongoDB and Node.js experience. As a React.js Developer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing user interface components using React.js concepts and workflows, such as Redux and Flux. You will also be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend APIs using Node.js and MongoDB.

QualificationsStrong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object modelThorough understanding of React.js and its core principles, such as Virtual DOMExperience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux or Flux)Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern authentication and authorization mechanisms (such as JSON Web Tokens)Experience with MongoDB and Node.jsExperience with common front-end development tools, such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.A knack for benchmarking and optimizationFamiliarity with code versioning tools (such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial)

Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related fieldExperience with other JavaScript frameworks (such as Angular or Vue)Experience with back-end development (such as Express.js or Ruby on Rails)Experience with CSS preprocessors (such as Sass or Less)Knowledge of SEO principlesAdditional qualifications and certifications in Ionic and React are a plus. We also value candidates with experience in software testing, familiarity with Agile methodologies, and knowledge of other programming languages such as Python or Java.
