Role SummaryWe are seeking a Go Developer with a specialization in API development to join our team. This role is critical in developing and optimizing the backend services and APIs that power the BeCause platform. The ideal candidate is someone who is deeply passionate about building scalable, high-performance backend systems and has a proven track record of delivering robust API solutions in Go.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Go code.Build highly performant APIs that interface with various components of the BeCause platform, ensuring seamless and secure data exchange.Work closely with the frontend development team to integrate APIs with the platform’s user interface.Implement security and data protection measures for API endpoints.Collaborate with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Participate in code reviews, contributing to maintaining high development standards and continuously improving code quality.Stay abreast of developments and best practices in API development, Go programming, and related technologies.Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring the highest levels of performance and responsiveness.

QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.3+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on API services.Proficient in Go programming language and familiar with its ecosystem.Solid understanding of API design principles and experience building scalable APIs. Expertise with GRPC preferred.Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Knowledge of database technologies (both SQL and NoSQL) and schema design.Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a commitment to contributing to a collaborative work environment.
