Job description

We are an innovative drinkware brand based in Los Angeles, CA, with a mission to inspire more people to celebrate stylishly and sustainably. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shopify Developer to join our team with the potential to transition to a full-time role. As a Shopify Developer at our company, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Shopify-based e-commerce solutions for our web store.

Responsibilities:Collaborate with design, marketing, and operations to gather requirements, develop project plans, and execute Shopify-based solutions.Design and customize Shopify themes to meet task or project specifications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.Implement custom functionality and features using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps and integrations.Implement and customize third-party apps and integrations as needed.Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.Optimize store performance, speed, and security to enhance user satisfaction and drive conversion rates.Regularly monitor and maintain our Shopify store to ensure they are functioning correctly.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs that arise.Monitor website analytics and implement strategies to improve conversion rates and user engagement.Stay on top of industry trends, new Shopify features, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our front-end and back-end.Document code and development processes for reference and future use.

Requirements:Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or similar roleStrong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language)Strong understanding of e-commerce principles, UI/UX design principles, and responsive web designExperience with Shopify's platform, themes, and APIsKnowledge of third-party integrations, plugins, and apps for ShopifyFamiliarity with SEO best practices and web analytics toolsExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git)Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent English communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyFamiliarity with agile development methodologies is a plusShopify Partner or Shopify Expert certification is a plus Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
