Shopify Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Shopify Backend Developer with over 5 years of experience in developing, managing, and optimizing Shopify stores. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Shopify platform, a strong technical background, and a proven track record of delivering successful e-commerce projects.

Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain custom Shopify applications/Apps and integrations.Work with APIs to integrate third-party services and enhance store functionality.Optimize Shopify stores for performance, scalability, and security.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs.Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to implement new features and enhancements.Create and manage complex data workflows, including importing and exporting data from Shopify.Provide technical guidance and support to clients and team members.Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in Shopify development and e-commerce trends.

Qualifications:Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Shopify development.Technical Skills:Strong proficiency in Liquid, Shopify’s templating language.Proficiency in back-end programming languages such as Ruby, PHP, or Node.js.Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and other API integration techniques.Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL.E-commerce Expertise:In-depth understanding of Shopify’s architecture and ecosystem.Experience with Shopify Plus and its additional features and capabilities.Knowledge of payment gateways, shipping integrations, and other e-commerce functionalities.Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with other e-commerce platforms such as Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce.Experience with headless commerce and JAMstack architectures.Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Certification in Shopify development.
