Job Description:We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Engineer at ColdSire.com, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the core infrastructure that powers our platform. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to design and implement high-performance, scalable, and secure backend systems.
Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs for our cold email infrastructure. • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. • Optimize and enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of our backend systems. • Implement security best practices to protect user data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. • Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and participate in debugging and troubleshooting. • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our platform.
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role in a SaaS environment. • Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Ruby, Java). • Experience with database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with email infrastructure and protocols (e.g., SMTP, IMAP, POP3). • Knowledge of email deliverability best practices and anti-spam measures. • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
