Reqiva are currently working with an exciting company based in Farnborough who are on the lookout for a Lead Developer with Java & Kotlin experience to join their rapidly expanding team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be a key part of the team in a hands-on position with a big focus on leading the team.

Up to £85k plus benefits, remote with occasional office visits.

Lead Java Developer Responsibilities:

Developing & maintaining Java applications.Interpreting briefs to create high quality code that matches specifications.Plan, prioritise, assign, and execute tasks through the full development cycle.Identifying and resolving issues with applications.Performing Peer code reviews.Mentoring team members helping their growth. Lead Java Developer Skillset:

8+ years’ working experience in software development.Experience in Java development.Good working knowledge of Spring, Microservices & Kotlin.Experience in the following technologies is advantageous: Monolith, Quarkus, Kubernetes, OpenShift.Experienced with team management and mentorship.Ideally educated in software/engineering or system related subject to BSc level or higher.Be personable and have good communication skills, pro-active and confident to present in team meetings when required.
