Database Developer

Job Title: Database DeveloperJob Type: B2B ContractRemote/Hybrid: Remote

Job Description:7+ years of MySQL database management, including the design, development, and maintenance of databases.Expertise in SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.Experience with database normalization and denormalization techniques.Knowledge of database indexing and performance tuning.Familiarity with data backup, recovery, and security.Understanding of replication strategies and implementation, such as Primary/Replica or Primary/Secondary setups.Proficiency in using MySQL Workbench or similar tools.Experience with database migration projects.Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes is a plus.Familiarity with a programming language such as Python, or Java is a plus.
