Job Description
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications.
Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA.
Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.
BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle Connected Cost is a SaaS-based cost management system for the construction industry. It provides Earned Value Management (EVM), budget forecasting, and collaborative contract and payment management capabilities as well as a host of other supporting features. Our product line is part of the Construction and Engineering Global Business Unit (CEGBU) of Oracle, a world leader in project and portfolio management software.
What you will do:
Design and implement new features for SaaS-based cost management systems.Writing both unit and integration tests as well as some automation level testingAutomate tasks through appropriate tools and scriptingPerform code reviews and mentor other engineers
What you've done:
4+ years Java experience (1.8+)4+ relational DB (Postgres or Oracle) with experience using Hibernate4+ years REST APIs2+ years with modern JS framework (Angular, React, Vue, etc.)2 + years HTML/CSS/SASS or LESS and GitExperience with Unix/Linux based systemsContainerization (Docker etc.)Jenkins, Bamboo, or other CI automation toolsFront end build tools (NPM and Webpack preferable)
It would be awesome if you also had:
Dropwizard, Springboot, or similar application frameworkWeb SocketsHazelcastTerraform or AnsibleHashicorp VaultExperience with security compliance (OWASP, etc.)

US: Hiring Range: from $76,100 - $223,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
