Role Overview Description

As a React Native Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Edstem's mobile applications.You will work closely with product and design teams to understand requirements and implement new features and bug fixes.Testing code for robustness, maintainability, and ensuring proper functionality.

Roles & Responsibilities

Write well designed, testable and efficient React Native code for our cross-platform mobile apps.Integrate with RESTful APIs and backend services.Implement designs and specifications provided by product and design teams.Develop new features and optimize application performances.Adhere to code quality, organization and writing reusable code.Collaborate with other teams like web, backend and design.Review code, provide feedback and approval of other team members.Handle error cases, debugging and ensuring deployment stability.

Requirements

3+ years of experience building mobile applications with React Native.Hands on experience building both Android and iOS apps using React Native.Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals.Expertise in component-based and single page application architectures.Experience with RESTful APIs and consuming web services.Experience with testing tools like Jest and familiarity with TDD/BDD.
